MACRO — Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Roma

Original concept by Sylvio Giardina.
The art direction places the FW24/25 collection within the architecture of Rome’s MACRO Museum, using the relationship between the garments and the surrounding space as part of the visual narrative. The sequence begins as the models leave the museum’s auditorium, introducing the collection through the transition from the runway space to the museum’s wider architectural setting.
The video direction translates the live runway into a moving image. The sound design was created specifically for the video, developed in relation to the editing and imagery to support its rhythm and atmosphere.
“The 2024/2025 Autumn-Winter collection and three archive dresses that have never been seen on a runway before: Sylvio Giardina, the youngest representative of Rome’s haute couture scene, will once again be displaying his creations in one of the special architectural settings that have become a hallmark of his fashion shows. This year, the backdrop for his display is the foyer of Rome’s MACRO contemporary art museum wing designed by Odile Decq, the French archistar with a goth-rock aesthetic that seems to hail straight out of the pages of a graphic novel.”
Developed in collaboration with Sylvio Giardina.
