Original concept by Sylvio Giardina.
In close collaboration with Sylvio Giardina, Tania Alineri contributed to the creative and visual development of the short film, co-developing the storyboard and overseeing the art direction. Her work also involved shaping the film’s visual language through selected camera angles and movements, supervising the final editing, and producing lookbook and press photography to document and communicate the collection.
The sound installation was curated and coordinated by Tania Alineri, with an original composition by Filippo Temperini. The ambient sounds featured in the film were recorded by Michele Baldi and Paolo Giuliani, contributing to the sonic atmosphere and enhancing the relationship between the audiovisual narrative and its surroundings.

“On September 14th, Sylvio Giardina with the attendance of Mayor Virginia Raggi presented the Frangiamore project: an original video-installation narrating all the languages of fashion. Stratifications in Rome: FRANGIAMORE tells the story of a close-knit family, of recollections. It is also a tribute of gratitude towards a city that has outstandingly enhanced Sylvio Giardina’s creativity.
Stratification comprises of an archive that finds value in the imprinted image of two lovers allowing themselves to be immortalized with a black and white picture in front of Altare della Patria. A miscellanea between past, present and future, to be recovered through a narrative influenced by a persuasive beauty. Overlapping. Two overlapping images outline vague contours. Tradition and innovation entwine in the city’s iconic places in an amarcord of visual harmonies between couture creations and classic settings observed in a contemporary key. With the Frangiamore short movie, Sylvio Giardina retrieves memory and magnificence rendering the project on a sharp chromatic palette. Black, a dreamy and reassuring shade; red epitomizing the couturier’s passion for fashion.
Finally, white celebrating artisans, the true pioneers of Made in Italy. Precious hands preserving with devotion our cultural heritage. Frangiamore is a short movie realized thanks to a historic archive full of cues. Giardina praises his passion for Alta Moda through his past collections Vertigo, Monocromo and Dark Celebration. Couture dresses. Sharp architectonic structures. Fans of tulle and embossing. Creases and seams. Small bows, almost blossoming in lavish details as rose petals on dresses.
The project is framed within iconic places of heart & soul: Piazza del Campidoglio, Scala del Vignola, Cortile Palazzo dei Conservatori, Cortile Palazzo Nuovo, Piazza della Rotonda – Pantheon and Villa Torlonia.”
