A visual project combining video and photography, exploring the identity and aesthetic of Bobby Joe Long’s Friendship Party, a Roman band influenced by dark wave and the imagery of Rome’s outskirts. The video was directed and shot by Tania Alineri, who also oversaw the editing. The videos were directed and shot by Tania Alineri, who also oversaw the editing. Conceived around two tracks from the band’s repertoire, Serialità and Rebibbia, the short films translate the atmosphere of the music into moving images.
The photographic series includes portraits of Bobby and highlights the CCDR (Chiodo a Coda De Rondine), a handcrafted leather jacket designed by Floriana Serani for her AMS (Abile Manifattura Serani) line, featured in the band’s 2022 music video for Bela Lugosi’s Tanz.
